Description
Aerangis fastuosa is a miniature angraecoid from Madagascar. Like other angraecoids, the flower is impressively large, especially compared to the size of this super-mini. A. fastuosa is an excellent choice for people who have limited space and grow inside. Of course you can put him outside for the summer, but he’s perfectly happy inside all year, and low light is great. Intermediate to hot conditions are great, and keep him on the moist side. Plants can be grown potted or mounted. There are thick-rooted angraecoids, like Angraecum didieri, that are treated like vandas. These finer-rooted guys need more water support, so keep them moist all the time. Plants typically bloom in spring and are wonderfully fragrant.
These are well-established, blooming-size plants.
