Description
Holcoglossum lingulatum (the flax-like holcoglossum; also known as H. tangii) is native to China where it occurs at moderate to high elevations as a small- to medium-sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with long, arching terete leaves. Plants blooms in the fall and winter on a slender inflorescence that carries several large, white, sparkling flowers with pink striped throats. Very showy.
Holcoglossum lingulatum plants can be grown in a pot, but really prefer to be mounted for best growth and floral effect.
