Description
Dendrobium wassellii is a species from Australia that looks almost like a cactus. Once included in the genus Dockrillia, all dockrillias were clumped back in with the dendrobiums again. These guys grow best mounted and in moderate light. They are super easy to grow; I mist mine every day, but they are very tolerant of periods of drying out. I love the strong, terete leaves that contrast so wildly to the frothy white inflorescences that come in the summer. Like a bodybuilder wearing a tutu. Plants come mounted.
