Dendrobium ionopus

$24.99 $19.99

Dendrobium ionopus is a species from the Phillipines that grows intermediate to warm.  Long lasting, waxy yellow flowers are produced on the older, leafless canes.  This  is a new species for me, and I’m excited to see how he does.  Orchidspecies.com lists him as a medium to large size plants, but the ones I have are small.  I am guessing that they will bloom at this size but the plants will grow in overall stature as I’ve seen with many other Den species.  Just remember that this guy is deciduous, so don’t freak out when he starts losing leaves in the fall.

Mounted and (I think) blooming size
