Yodonomatsu 淀の松

Description

Neofinetia falcata Yodonomatsu (“Pine by the Pool”) is a wonderful bean leaf (mameba) variety with chunky dark green leaves.  Flowers are white and star-shaped with a short nectary spur as is common with bean leaves.  In my personal collection, I have a beautiful specimen that has a very tall growth which hints at why it was named as it was, i.e., tall as a tree.  Like all the beans, Yodonomatsu is remarkable both as small plants and as large, multi-growth plants.

These are multi-growth plants!
