Culture

You can grow Pinky like a typical vanda, i.e., in a basket, or you can opt for a pot with coarse medium.  Like other vandas, they like to get wet and dry out quickly.  In a basket, they should be watered every day, but in a pot, you can decrease watering to once or twice a week–err to the side of being dry except when plants are in bloom.  Vandas are heavy feeders during the growing season, so fertilize regularly when it’s warm.  I find they grow best in moderate to high light, intermediate to warm temperatures.  SUPER EASY.
