Dendrobium moniliforme Sankanou is a choseiran characterized by tall yellow canes and leaves that start out heavily striated green but mature to mostly creamy white with dark edges. The variability among leaves lends an added dimension to the variegation. Don’t forget that Den. moniliforme is a deciduous species.
Plants will have at least five canes and are mature/blooming size.
The flower pictured is from one of my plants that bloomed (thanks goes to Kelly McCracken for the picture). I have not seen other plants bloom buy I am hoping they will have the same flower. In my experience, the green picotee is unique (and an indicator that this is not a pure Den. moniliforme as I discuss in my post here.)
