Dendrobium moniliforme Sorimjuk

Rated 5.00 out of 5 based on 1 customer rating
(1 customer review)

$29.99

Dendrobium moniliforme Sorimjuk is a choseiran characterized by tall, thin, green canes and very fine green leaves.  I found a similar variety on a trip to Japan in 2015 and have wished I had more ever since.  While all Choseiran remind most people of bamboo, this one is definitely the winner of “Most Bamboo Like Dendrobium.”  Its unusual form suggests Sorimjuk is actually a hybrid of Den. moniliforme (this is a common occurrence), so do not expose it to freezing temperatures. Don’t forget that Den. moniliforme is a deciduous species.

Plants will have at least five canes and are mature/blooming size.
