Description
Neofinetia falcata Kishu Ryokufu 紀州綠風 is a princess leaf variety that produces very light green flowers. I have found this to be an easy to grow variety while some people struggle with Hisui or Tosamidori, the two (maybe) greener varieties. Some people on Orchid Board reported they had a hard time getting green flowers, so others suggested they grow the plants in lower light. Like all my Neos, these are grown in low light, and I have seen them consistently bloom green. I didn’t know that some people had this trouble, and I don’t know that the low light is the actual cure for the problem. I just always grow in low light!
Super vigorous growers and VERY affordable.
Multi-growth plants potted Japanese style.
Alternate Romanji spellings: Kishuryokufu, Kishu Ryokufu, Kishuu Ryokufu, Kishuu Ryokufuu
