Epidendrum porpax

A dwarf, epiphytic, reedstem orchid that forms large mats of clustered leafy stems carrying fleshy,leaves.originating from Colombia and Venezuela in pine and oak forests. It can bloom at any time with up to 1″ large flowers. Usually flowers twice ayear and flowers are long lasting (2+ months). grow in pots with a coarse mix to allow the roots to get air and plants can grow over the rim. Give ample water while growing and misting through the winter instead of a watering.
