Description
Epidendrum nanum, the small-flowered epidendrum, is a charming super-mini that looks like it should be a doll house or something. I actually thought “nanum” was for the size of the plant, not the flower! Grow it mounted, and the plant forms a tight clump of pointy leaves that terminate in a chartreuse-tinted flower when in bloom. But choose it for the form; it’s like a tiny succulent. I have been trying to get my hands on this guy again since I first fell in love with it five years ago.
Warm to cool temperatures
Intermediate to low light
