Dendrobium moniliforme Benibotan is a choseiran characterized by green canes and matching bright green leaves. What makes this variety interesting is that the leaves are somewhat textured. The “beni” in Benibotan refers to the pink flowers. As a note, anything out of the ordinary in the flower of a Choseiran indicates that there was something other than Den. moniliforme in its parentage. For this reason, they will take cold but not freezing temperatures. And don’t forget that Den. moniliforme is a deciduous species.
Plants will have at least five canes and are mature/blooming size.
