Neostylis Lou Sneary
Neostylis (Vandachostylis) Lou Sneary, perhaps the most popular Neofinetia hybrid of all time, is the cross of Neofinetia falcata and Rhynchostylis coelestis. Plants are vandaceous and may bloom multiple times a year. Flowers are white with blue/purple accents, and they are very fragrant.
Blooming size plants!
You can grow Lou like a typical vanda, i.e., in a basket, or you can opt for a pot with coarse medium. Like other vandas, they like to get wet and dry out quickly. In a basket, they should be watered every day, but in a pot, you can decrease watering to once or twice a week–err to the side of being dry except when plants are in bloom. Vandas are heavy feeders during the growing season, so fertilize regularly when it’s warm. I find they grow best in moderate to high light, intermediate to warm temperatures. SUPER EASY.
