Shinkotou 新湖東

Rated 5.00 out of 5 based on 1 customer rating
(1 customer review)

$60.00 $44.99

Neofinetia falcata Shinkotou (“New Thing”–that cracks me up) is a white-striped Neo variety that is further characterized by long ink markings on the leaves.  You might first think there’s a problem when you see the black lines, but it’s just a defining characteristic of Shinkoto.  Other ink-marked varieties include Surusume and Suminagashi; however, their markings are much shorter and their leaves lack variegation.

Neofinetia falcata Shinkoto blooms white with the standard, excellent smelling flowers we all love.  These are multi-growth, blooming size plants potted in sphagnum as is traditional. (Picture is an example of a larger plant.)

This was one of my first neos, and I love it. Within a month of receiving it, it threw up a spike which is now flowering! Great service and fast shipping.
