Neofinetia falcata Select: Subaek

Description

Neofinetia falcata Subaek is a very fine and rare amami fukurin with dark green leaves and creamy margins. Gracefully curved leaves and fast-growing. The variety resents high light, as witnessed by the slightly burnt edges.  When I first saw it, I was reminded of the varieties with “ink markings,” so it didn’t bother me.  I think it adds character, although I wouldn’t intentionally do it again 🙂
