Hitodama IV (Twisted Pine with Departed Souls)

This ethereal painting was inspired by a beautifully contorted pine the artist marveled at while walking through the Japanese Garden at the Huntington in Pasadena, California.  It was created by Robin Street-Morris using transparent watercolor and powdered soft pastel on the finest 300lb cold press paper.  It’s 12″ x 19″ (30 x 48cm).
