Christmas Break

December 17, 2014 by Kristen Uthus Leave a Comment

It’s Christmas time which you might have noticed if you have been to any store since the day after Halloween.  I hope that your holiday plans are all going well and your orchids are enjoying a little down time over the winter.  I am still collecting pre-orders for Japan, so feel free to send those in.  I am also continuing to add to my own very long list of plants, particularly Neos, that I will be requesting from our Japanese growers.  It’s going to be a big year for buying, I can see that already!  While I continue to think and plan, though, I am going to be away from the greenhouse, so the last day I will be able to ship out is this Friday, Dec 19.  Shipping will resume January 5.

If you are travelling, be careful, and try to give yourself plenty of time to get around.  Enjoy the season and time with your friends and family.  Sing along with some Christmas carols while they’re still here. While winter officially begins Dec 21, the days will begin to get longer at that point, too, and that is something about which we can all rejoice!

Merry Christmas, Joyeux Noel, Feliz Navidad, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and Happy New Year!

Cheers,

Kristen and Glenn
