Description
Brassavola perrinii is a small species by Brassavola standards. Sources vary as to preferred temperatures for growing, but I have had success growing them intermediate to warm. The climate they come from originally is high elevations which are cool, so there you go–temperature will not be a hindrance. Moderate light is sufficient for Brassavola perrinii, and plants like to dry out between waterings like typical Cattleya alliance members.
I love Brassavola perrinii for its long, thin, terete leaves as well as its large, fragrant flowers. Blooms spring/summer.
Grown mounted or potted. Blooming size plants.
