Description
Dendrobium peguanum is native to India, Nepal, and neighboring regions of Asia where it grows as a lithophyte (read that as “likes to dry out”). Although it prefers warm temperatures, Dendrobium peguanum grows perfectly well in intermediate temps, and it likes plenty of light. The species is deciduous, so don’t freak out when it loses its leaves. It’s just preparing to bloom for you. The flowers are absolutely spectacular, and if you see the plant in bloom, you will fall in love. Even the little pseudobulbs are adorable. The whole thing is adorable. You need one.
I have only had success with these MOUNTED. Once I mounted the guys I was trying to grow potted, they went from nearly dead to all kinds of new growth. If you like to abuse by underwatering, this is your guy.
