Lockhartia is a genus of orchids that includes about 30 species distributed from Mexico through northern South America, as well as in Trinidad.  Grow at intermediate to warm temperatures and light and keep evenly moist.  Plants are very striking for their braided appearance.  The flowers are cute and bright yellow, but even if it never bloomed, you would still love this genus.
